On December 20, 2009 The Phantom Tribe had the opportunity to investigate Centerbrook Sports and Dugout Bar. Amy, Adam, Chris, Nate, and Jason were present at this investigation. The Dug Out is owned by Warren "Bud" Wiser and is located in Centerton, Indiana. The building is 30 years old and has a gym, bar, kitchen, and a pool hall. There has been some recent remodeling to the building.
Upon doing interviews of various employees, we came across some interesting paranormal happenings. Some sounds that have been heard were pool balls rolling around on the tables by themselves, voices heard when no one was around, bells ringing, footsteps in rooms where no employees were there as they closed up, and doors in the kitchen opening and closing on their own.
Voices that were heard by the employees were "Get out", "Hey you", and "What do you got to do to get a drink around here?" There were reports of objects being moved. In the kitchen, doors were opening as well as the stove and deep fryer turning on by itself. A fork has been reported to levitate above the stove. In the bar area chairs have moved by themselves. The door in the kitchen that has a top and bottom half has been reported that the top half slams shut on its own. There has been an apparition of a person has been seen in the corner of the gym. The women employees have had their hair pulled and something would blow into their ears. All this along with the feeling of always being watched.
We took many pictures and did several EVP sessions during the investigation. However, we did not capture any physical evidence but did have some personal experiences.
While we were upstairs in the pool room we heard the kitchen door open and footsteps walking sround the bar area and then the kitchen door open and then shut. At this time we were the only ones there upstairs above the kitchen and bar area.
We concluded that the bar is in fact haunted and that there is paranormal activity taking place at this location. we do plan on going back to follow up and further investigate.
