We were contacted by a family who was concerned that they had a demonic entity in their home. The wife was concerned that this entity had attached itself to her husband. They have had activity since the 3rd week after they moved into their home. The husband has been training to be an MMA (mixed-martial arts) fighter. He trains in his basement. They first experienced this activity in the bedroom where their 13 month old daughter sleeps, it soon moved to the basement. The husband has stated he has had conversations with this entity and he claims to like the power that it gives him.
Some reported activity are feelings of being watched. Some odors such as candles, cologne, and flatulence. There are reports of pacing, balls from the pool table moving on their own, and chairs being pushed over. They found a dead cat wrapped in a pair of jeans in their crawl space, and a dead bird in the basement. Also heard are loud bangs on the kitchen floor and when the wife is doing dishes she feels like there is pure evil underneath her. The husband had a wedding ring come up missing and their daughters nightlight was missing. They have felt cold spots in basement. The wife and friends have noticed a change in the husbands mood and everyday habits. He wants to sleep all the time. Friends have been awakened and felt as if they were being held down to the couch unable to get up.
We came in and did an EMF sweep first thing, nothing out of the ordinary. We took a lot of pictures and did some EVP sessions in the basement and other areas of the house. This was the first night we were there and we all had some personal experiences. The husband was not present for this investigation. Investigators present the first night were Amy, Adam, Jason, Chris, and Nate. Chris is our team demonologist, had stated that there was an evil presence in the house. He performed a deliverance in hopes that this would take care of this entity.
We reviewed evidence and caught nothing. No pictures and no EVP's. We decided to do some research on demons. We found that generally with a demonic haunting you will not get any evidence in the beginning stages of investigations. We also found out that demons can harm you and if they like you better they could become attached to you. I contacted a discernment demonologist by the name of Ronald R. He was very informative and willing to do all he could to help us. He gave me some ideas of what to do next. We went back out to this families home the following weekend to do another investigation. Investigators present this time were Amy, Adam, Jason, Chris, Phil, Holly, and Nate. We had to go to a Catholic Church and get some Holy Water. We did a normal investigation trying to get any type of evidence that we could. We were given prayers to say and instructions on how to bless the home. At the end of our investigation we walked around the entire house saying the prayers and sprinkling Holy Water as well. I heard from the wife about five days later and she was pleased to say that everything has been fine and there have not been any reports of activity. I have instructed her to contact us immediately if they have any more issues so we can direct them to others more qualified in dealing with demons.
