We were contacted by the homeowners because they believed they were experiencing paranormal activity. Some claims of activity have been knocking, clawing sounds, and popping noises. While one of them was talking to a friend on the phone thiey both heard this strange voice which seemed to be speaking in a different language. At one point they had done their own EVP session, afterwards they put the recorder in a dresser drawer. Around 3:16 am the recorder came on by itself. On the head board of the bed was an alarm clock, at 3:16 am on a different night it fell off and hit one of the owners in the head. We looked at this head board and there is a lip on it, so it would have been difficult for the clock to fall off. There have been feelings of being watched. Sometimes when sitting on the bed it feels as if someone sits down by their feet. They have had their feet touched. One of their friends was held down by something.
We went out to investigate this property on September 25, 2009. Investigators present were Amy, Adam, Jason, Chris, Holly, and Nate. First we did our usual EMF sweep of the property. We were unable to find any unusual readings. According to the homeowners the activity only happened in the master bedroom. We started there taking pictures and doing some EVP work. While in the bedroom Holly and Amy were sitting on the bed and Holly felt something touch her leg.
Adam went into the bedroom to investigate by himself. While sitting on the bed asking questions he heard the beep from the EMF detector. He was unable to get another reading from it. There wasn't any activity while we were there, but we let the homeowners know that the paranormal can not be turned on/off like a switch. Just because nothing happened while we were there does not mean there is not some kind of activity there.
After reviewing evidence, we were unable to get any evidence to support their claims. This case remains open.
