We were contacted by a family who is experiencing some strange phenomena. We were by them though our email on October 22, 2009. After speaking with them on the phone we felt a bit of an urgency as there were children involved, who were being affected by this activity.
On October 23, 2009 our investigators went to the home for the investigation. Investigators present were Amy, Adam, Jason, Phil, and Holly. Some activity that is being reported is feelings of being watched, sounds of classical music, voices, hearing footsteps, sounds of something rolling across the floor, items being moved, and the baby's crib moving 4-6 inches.
Since the family moved into this house 15 months ago, their oldest son has had trouble sleeping in his room. Then there was the complaint of a monster in his room. As parents they thought maybe it was his imagination, but this has been happening every night. After the father had an item moved and after his strange dream about a little girl being in the house, the father decided to hang a talisman on his son's closet door. The next morning there were scratch marks on the door were the talisman hung. These marks were not here the night before. A family friend has reported seeing the apparition of a man in the window of the spare bedroom on the second floor.
We started our investigation by doing an EMF sweep of the house. There were a couple of high readings throughout our sweep. Since activity has only occurred in a few rooms we decided to stay together. The kitchen, library, son's room, and spare bedroom were the focus of this investigation. We started in the kitchen taking pictures and doing an EVP session. While asking questions we did get a few knocks. We discovered that these knocks seemed to be coming from the basement.
We continued our investigation throughout the rest of the house taking pictures and doing EVP sessions. We spent the majority of our time in the son's room. We all went in together, not really getting any responses so Amy and Holly stayed in there for awhile. They continued to take pictures. Adam, Jason, and Phil also had their turn in the son's room doing the same.
We felt this investigation went real well. After reviewing all the evidence we were unable to capture anything. Other than the knocks we heard in the kitchen there was not any personal experiences either. This case will remain open.
