The first time we visited this cemetery it was a little difficult to find. It is located in Greencastle not far from Edna Collings Bridge. Adam, Amy, and Jason were the first of our investigators to check this cemetery out. We took some pictures, did some EVP work, and had our EMF detector out in case. We walked around the entire cemetery, which is fairly big. There is a little shed in the back left corner. The closer we got to it the eerier the cemetery became. On this night we were unable to find any evidence of paranormal activity.
Adam, Amy, Jason, Phil, and Holly were the investigators present on the return visit. While we were doing research about this cemetery, we read something about some caves that had paranormal activity. Adam, Jason, and Phil had found the caves and went exploring. Sad to say there wasn't any paranormal activity in here either.
While we were there, we were visited by the police. People are allowed to be in the cemetery at night. They know that it is rumored to be haunted and as long as people are not there to vandalize, then it is okay. The officers were really cool about everything.
We did not catch any paranormal activity on this night either. It is still a cool place to go and check out.
Directions
Take I-70 W toward St. Louis. Take exit 41 toward Greencastle. Merge onto IN-43/S US-231. Turn left at E US-40. Turn right at S County Rd-200 W. Turn left at W County Rd-600S. Continue on S County Road-300 W. Turn left at W County Rd-550 S. Turn right at S County Rd-375 W. Turn left at W County Rd-550 S. Turn right at S County Rd-475 W. Go a little ways and you will see Boone Hutcheson Cemetery.
