We were contacted by the home owners of this property after they had experienced some weird things. They had only owned this house for about a week. When they would go to bed they would experience some odd things. They would hear footsteps, banging, unusual smells, writing would appear on the walls that hadn't been there before, and the letter H had been carved into the window sill above the kitchen and the homeowners belt.
Adam, Amy, Jason, Chris, Phil, Holly, James, and Josh were present at this investigation. We split up into groups and began investigating this home. The house was three stories so there was a lot of ground to cover. First we took some base EMF readings. Most of them were normal but we did have some high EMF readings around their bedroom. While investigating we did notice cold spots which we later concluded came from the window in one of the bedrooms. After the investigation we reviewed evidence and were unable to find any paranormal activity. We determined that due to the high EMF readings by the bedroom where they sleep they were experiencing what is known as a "Fear Cage." A "Fear Cage" is a cramped space with high EMF levels that may stimulate the senses to simulate paranormal experiences. We explained this to the home owners and asked them to have an electrician come out and check their electrical issues in the house. We spoke with the owners a couple of weeks later to see how things were going and they said that the issues had stopped and they no longer have these experiences.
